Sub 3:30

Marathon Training Plan

The Caffeine Bullet sub 3:30 marathon training plan runs for 16-weeks and has been devised to ensure that you peak on marathon day. To consider using this plan you should be used to regularly running 20+ miles per week and be able to run a 5k in 22:00, a 10k in 46:00 or a half marathon in 1:40:30.

 

A sub 3:30 marathon is 8:00 per mile, however, you are likely to run around 26.4 miles on the day due to crowding, so you should aim for 7:57. 

 

If you are new to running, then you should have your running style checked at a running store to ensure that your trainers give you adequate support.
